EEP Action Learning at the Cookie Factory!

Date
15.07.2020

The cookie factory in s-Hertogenbosch’s main purpose these days is as a cultural centre, and it was the venue for our pilot training for our Erasmus Employment Plus project in March 2020.

Ellie and Anne-Marie from 15billion travelled to the Netherlands to meet our European partners for the EEP project. This week the focus was on tryng out our exercises that will focus on supporting careers guidance practitioners who work with people with limited skills and qualifications. The curriculum is based on Action Learning, which means that it is collaborative and reflective and involves testing theory in practice.

The opportunity to meet the rest of the team was great! It was a really productive meeting as we were able to test out the training activities and see where they needed improvement

Trying out the exercises and giving feedback together ensured that we would feel much more confident delivering the pilot training sessions with guidance practitioners back in our own countries (Austria, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria and the UK)

The training will cover topics such as client needs analysis, learning styles and motivation, vocational choices and practitioner well-being. If you are interested to find out more, or would like to take part in the UK pilots, please get in touch!
