15billion’s Courtney and Anne-Marie travelled to Vienna in September for our third project meeting for Erasmus Employment Plus, a project that will support guidance practitioners who work with people with limited skills and qualifications.
Together with partners from six European partners, we reviewed a range of exciting new exercises which will support guidance practitioners to explore their work with clients using Action Learning Sets – a process that involves a small group working on real problems together.
The conference was a great opportunity to engage with guidance practitioners and learn more about their experiences with low skilled clients. Trialing our exercises in small groups with the practitioners created meaningful discussions about how each exercise could be implemented in their own practice
Courtney GreenOn our second day of the visit, abif, our hosting organisation held a brilliant dissemination conference, bringing together guidance counsellors from across Austria. We had an interesting ‘fish bowl discussion’ and got to try out some of the exercises.
There was even a bit of time to scoot around Vienna on electric bikes, and try some Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn.
