Posted on: May 14th, 2018 by 15Admin

Over 75 young children from 8 primary schools in East London celebrated reaching Children’s University milestones at a ceremony held at Brampton Manor Academy. Dressed in graduation gowns and mortarboards, children from Central Park, Curwen, Kensington, Mayville, Nelson, Parkhill Junior, St Stephens and Vicarage Primary Schools celebrated in front of proud friends and family.

We were delighted to be joined by Marion Faust MBE who presented the eager graduates with their certificates and inspired children to seek learning opportunities everywhere.

After the event, children highlighted that they found the experience ‘joyful and exciting’ and commented that they felt ‘proud’ to be graduating.

Jessica Worf, East London Children’s University Manager said our graduation at Brampton Manor Academy was a huge success. We are passionate about inspiring children and their parents to try new opportunities and ignite a spark that may open their minds to new experiences and potentially new career options. Through Children’s University we work with our local schools to promote a lifelong love of learning.

The ceremony concluded with Children being encouraged to continue collecting stamps in their passports during the Summer with a range of exciting Children’s University validated activities. To find out more about East London CU follow us on Twitter @EastLondon_CU
